We are so excited to announce the first ever Hope For His Children 5K Walk/Run!

The event will be held as part of the Thorntown Turning Leaves Festival. Here’s the details:

Saturday, September 24, 2011
Register: 8:30 am – Walk/Run: 9:00 am
Depart/return location: Sugar Creek Art Center, Thorntown, Indiana

Registration is FREE! Donations will be accepted.
Sponsor forms are available below for anyone wishing to fundraise.
All proceeds will benefit orphaned, abandoned and impoverished children.

We have information for this January’s mission trip to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia! At the bottom of this post is a PDF containing information regarding:

-The purpose and goals of the trip as a whole
-A possible outlined agenda for the week
-Plans for travel (in and out of the country) and lodging

-Ministry opportunities for the trip

Hope For His Children, Inc. invites you to take a minute and look at the great opportunities that lie within this life-changing trip! Further information will be available at a later date, but if you may be interested, this is a great time and place to gain some basic knowledge of the outline for the trip.

We’re already praying for the trip and those who have the chance to experience such an awesome opportunity! We’d love to have your prayers as well so that the trip can praise God to the fullest!!

We set a goal of 185 followers by July 31st.
We are excited to announce that we closed out July with 202 followers!
Goal exceeded.
But, was it really? Not yet.
You see, the ultimate goal has nothing to do with the number of followers we “collect”….it has to do with the number of lives we can touch. Our hope is to use the platform of the internet (our website, Facebook, twitter, etc.) to reach our REAL goal of increasing awareness and generating support. In the end, we pray that the love of Jesus will be shown to orphaned, abandoned, and impoverished children. Jesus doesn’t ask us to do that…..He COMMANDS us to.

Matthew 18:5. “And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.”

Hope(185) begins TODAY! Spread the word. Tell a friend. Our goal: 185 followers by July 31st.

Why?

One of the primary reasons Hope For His Children exists is to increase awareness about the desperate needs of the orphaned, abandoned, and impoverished children of the world. We know in today’s society Facebook is a powerful tool we can use to “get the message out”. Some things you can expect to see on our Facebook page: updates on our ministry programs, announcements about upcoming mission trip opportunities, scriptures related to serving the needy, and so much more!
